Mao Catholic Women Association (MCWA) Retreat; 20th-22nd February 2026

DIVINE GLORY MINISTRIES, MANIPUR -

MARAM KHUNOU, SENAPATI:

The Mao Mothers’ Retreat was prayerfully conducted at the Divine Glory Prayer Tower from 20th to 22nd February 2026. This three-day spiritual gathering brought together more than 200 mothers from various parishes across Manipur. It was a grace-filled occasion, offering the participants a meaningful opportunity to renew their faith, strengthen their families spiritually, and deepen their relationship with God. The retreat was led by Rev. Fr. Dinny Paul V.C., Brother Joshy, and the dedicated team of the Divine Glory Prayer Tower.

Their inspiring preaching, heartfelt guidance, and prayerful leadership created a spiritually uplifting atmosphere throughout the retreat. The talks were thoughtfully translated into the Mao language by Madam Lolia and Mr. Edward, the touring catechist of Senapati Parish, ensuring that every participant could fully understand and benefit from the messages shared.

The retreat began with a solemn Way of the Cross conducted around the compound on the first day. This prayerful procession helped the mothers meditate deeply on the passion and suffering of Christ, uniting their personal struggles and family concerns with the Cross of the Lord. The days were filled with vibrant praise and worship sessions, enriching spiritual talks, the recitation of the Holy Rosary, celebration of the Holy Mass, and extended moments of Eucharistic Adoration.

The Sacrament of Reconciliation was made available, allowing many participants to experience God’s mercy and forgiveness in a profound way. Personal counselling sessions were also arranged, offering spiritual guidance and encouragement to those in need. Throughout the retreat, there was a tangible sense of God’s presence.

Many mothers testified to experiencing inner healing, renewed hope, and a deeper peace in their hearts. The retreat became a sacred space where burdens were surrendered, faith was rekindled, and hearts were strengthened. At the conclusion of the retreat, the mothers returned to their families spiritually refreshed, healed, and renewed, carrying with them a stronger commitment to prayer and Christian family life. The Mao Mothers’ Retreat truly became a memorable and transformative spiritual experience for all who participated.
