Healing & Deliverance Retreat; 3rd-6th September 2026

DIVINE GLORY MINISTRIES, MANIPUR -

MARAM KHUNOU, SENAPATI:

3rd–6th September 2026 | Thursday–Sunday.

The Healing and Deliverance Retreat was held at the Divine Glory Prayer Tower, with around 110 participants attending the retreat. The four-day retreat was a time of prayer, worship, spiritual renewal, healing, and a deeper encounter with Jesus Christ.

The day began with the Holy Rosary, creating an atmosphere of prayer and preparing the participants to enter more deeply into the presence of God. This was followed by powerful Praise and Worship, led by Saimon Namkoiba, Ajoy Kansouwa, and Sr. Lilly S.J. Their ministry helped the participants to open their hearts in joyful praise and surrender before the Lord.

The retreat teachings and preaching were given by Fr. Dinny Paul VC, Fr. John Joseph VC, Fr. Praful Kerketta VC, Fr. Daya Kishor, and Mr. Francis. The central message of the preaching was focused particularly on young people and the call to live a better and transformed life in Christ. The participants were encouraged to leave behind their old ways, turn towards Jesus, and experience the freedom, peace, and joy that come from living according to the Gospel.

A significant part of the retreat was the Sacrament of Reconciliation. Many participants made sincere confessions, seeking God's mercy and forgiveness. This became an important moment of spiritual renewal as many experienced the liberating grace of God and a renewed desire to begin a new life in Christ.

The participants also celebrated the Holy Eucharist, where the preaching and reflections centered on the theme of new life in Jesus. Through the Eucharistic celebration, the participants were reminded that Christ calls every person to a life of holiness, faith, hope, and love.

One of the most powerful moments of the retreat was the Eucharistic Adoration. During the time of Adoration, many participants experienced what they described as a powerful presence of Jesus. Several testified to receiving physical and spiritual healing, while others experienced inner peace, consolation, freedom, and renewed faith. The atmosphere of prayer and Adoration brought many participants into a deeper personal encounter with the Lord.

The four days concluded in an atmosphere of joy and fellowship. The participants shared lunch together, strengthening the bonds of unity and friendship formed during the retreat. With grateful hearts and renewed faith, they departed for their homes, carrying with them the message of Christ's love and the experience of His healing presence.

1 Peter 2:24 "He himself bore our sins in his body upon the cross, so that, free from sin, we might live for righteousness. By his wounds you have been healed."
