The Poumai Mothers’ Retreat was held from 27th to 30th August 2026 at Divine Glory Prayer Tower, Senapati, Manipur, with around 235 mothers participating.
The retreat began on 27th August at 3:00 PM with the Divine Mercy Chaplet, followed by Holy Mass celebrated by Fr. Paul Ngaolouni. The praise and worship sessions were led by Saimon Namkoiba, Ajoy Kansouwa, and Sr. Lilly SJ. Through uplifting praise and worship, the mothers were helped to open their hearts to the presence of God and to enter more deeply into the spirit of the retreat. Holy Mass was also celebrated by Fr. Dennis on the following day.
The retreat was preached by Fr. Dinny Paul VC – Director, Fr. Praful Kerketta VC, and Mr. Francis, focusing mainly on repentance, conversion, and drawing closer to the love of Jesus Christ. The mothers sincerely received the Sacrament of Reconciliation, experiencing God’s mercy, forgiveness, and renewed love. The preachers encouraged the mothers to examine their lives, turn away from sin, experience the mercy of God, and renew their relationship with Jesus. The messages invited the participants to surrender their burdens, wounds, fears, and struggles to the Lord and to experience His healing and transforming love.
Adoration and Anointing were conducted by Fr. Dinny Paul VC, Fr. Praful Kerketta VC, and Mr. Francis. Many participants experienced physical, emotional, and spiritual healing, and were deeply touched by the presence and glory of the Holy Spirit.
The four-day retreat was a beautiful experience of prayer, healing, renewal, and fellowship. The mothers returned home filled with joy, peace, and the love of Jesus Christ, renewed in their faith and strengthened to bring God’s love into their families and communities.
