Lenten Residential Retreat; 5th-8th March 2026

DIVINE GLORY MINISTRIES, MANIPUR -

MARAM KHUNOU, SENAPATI:

A four-day Residential Retreat was conducted from 5th to 8th March 2026 at the Divine Glory Prayer Tower, Senapati. Around 40 participants gathered for this spiritually enriching retreat with a desire to deepen their faith, renew their spiritual life, and experience the loving presence of God.

The retreat began with a spirit of prayer and openness, inviting the participants to enter into a deeper encounter with the Lord. Throughout the four days, the atmosphere of the prayer tower was filled with devotion, reflection, and fellowship as the participants dedicated their time to prayer and listening to the Word of God.

The retreat was blessed with inspiring preaching of the Word of God delivered by Rev. Fr. Dinny Paul, Fr. Daya Kishore, Sr. Karuna Jees, Sr. Alphonse Maria FCC, Mr. Joshy, and Mr. Henry. Through their meaningful reflections and personal experiences, the speakers encouraged the participants to grow in faith, repentance, forgiveness, and a deeper commitment to Christian life.

The music ministry was beautifully led by Sr. Alphonse Maria FCC and Mr. Simon, whose prayerful songs created a powerful atmosphere of praise and worship. Their music helped the participants to enter more deeply into prayer and to experience the joy of worshipping God together as a community.

The retreat included several spiritual activities such as Holy Mass, praise and worship, Eucharistic adoration, healing adoration, the Way of the Cross, preaching sessions, and the Sacrament of Reconciliation. Fr. Paul Ngaoluni kindly assisted in the Sacrament of Confession, giving many participants the opportunity to reconcile with God and experience His mercy and forgiveness.

The devotion of the Way of the Cross was a particularly moving moment during the retreat. As the participants reflected on the suffering and sacrifice of Jesus Christ, they were invited to unite their own struggles and sufferings with the Cross of Christ and to grow in gratitude for His saving love.

During the retreat, many participants experienced moments of personal prayer, silence, and reflection. These moments helped them to renew their faith, surrender their burdens to the Lord, and receive spiritual strength for their daily lives. The fellowship among the participants also created a sense of unity, encouragement, and mutual support in their journey of faith.

The retreat concluded with a solemn Eucharistic adoration, where the participants spent time thanking and praising the Lord for the many blessings received during the retreat. This was followed by a fellowship meal, allowing everyone to share their joy and gratitude together.

The four days of the residential retreat were truly grace-filled and spiritually uplifting. The participants returned to their homes with renewed faith, deeper trust in God, and a strong desire to continue their spiritual journey with greater commitment and devotion.
