ZOUMUN, CHURACHANDPUR:
The Bible Convention was successfully conducted at Divine Glory Retreat Centre, Zoumun, on 18 July 2026, with the participation of faithful from the surrounding villages. The day began with the Holy Rosary and the Sacrament of Reconciliation, preparing the participants spiritually for the convention. This was followed by a lively session of Praise and Worship led by Catechist Savio, creating an atmosphere of prayer and openness to God's Word.
Fr. Saji VC delivered two inspiring Bible talks based on Romans 8:17–20, explaining the Christian call to share in the sufferings of Christ with the hope of sharing in His glory. The sessions encouraged the faithful to persevere in faith, embrace God's will in every circumstance, and live as true children of God. Opportunities for confession continued throughout the day, while action songs helped maintain an active and joyful spirit among the participants.
The Holy Mass, celebrated by Fr. Saji VC, focused on the theme of assimilating the nature of Christ, urging everyone to become more like Jesus in love, humility, holiness, and obedience. After the Mass, the faithful participated in the Divine Mercy devotion, followed by a deeply prayerful Eucharistic Healing Adoration, during which many experienced spiritual renewal and healing through the presence of the Blessed Sacrament.
The convention concluded with lunch and fellowship before the participants departed. The entire day was a grace-filled experience that strengthened faith, deepened devotion to the Eucharist, and inspired the faithful to live according to the teachings of Christ.
