DIVINE GLORY MINISTRIES, MANIPUR -
MARAM KHUNOU, SENAPATI:
St. John Bosco Parish, Senapati, organized a two-day Lenten Retreat on 21st and 22nd March 2026. The retreat was a spiritually enriching experience for the faithful who gathered in large numbers to prepare themselves during the holy season of Lent. The retreat was led by Rev. Fr. Dinny Paul V.C., along with Rev. Fr. Daya Kishor and Mr. Henry John. The entire program was prayerfully conducted, creating a deep atmosphere of reflection, repentance, and spiritual renewal among the participants.
The sessions began with vibrant praise and worship led by Sr. Alphonse Maria FCC and Mr. Ajoy Maring, along with the Divine Glory team members. The music ministry helped the faithful enter into deep prayer and openness to the Word of God. Through inspiring songs, heartfelt prayers, and joyful worship, the participants were spiritually prepared to receive the messages shared during the retreat.
Rev. Fr. Dinny Paul V.C. delivered powerful preaching centered on repentance, forgiveness, healing, and strengthening of faith. Rev. Fr. Daya Kishor also preached the Word of God, encouraging the faithful to deepen their relationship with Christ and grow in faith. Mr. Henry John gave a powerful testimony, sharing his personal experience of God's love and grace, which deeply touched many participants and inspired them to trust more fully in God.
Special features of the retreat included Praise and Worship, Confession, Holy Mass, Rosary, Healing Adoration, and preaching of the Word of God. These spiritual activities gave participants opportunities for personal reflection, repentance, and deeper encounter with Christ. Many faithful availed themselves of the Sacrament of Reconciliation and experienced peace, healing, and spiritual renewal.
Counselling sessions were conducted by Sr. Karuna Jees CHF and Mr. Henry John, offering guidance and spiritual support to those in need. Rev. Fr. Siby the Parish Priest of St.John Bosco Parish, Rev. Fr. Paul Ngaoluni , and Rev. Fr. Louis Sunbeam assisted in ministering the Sacrament of Reconciliation and Eucharistic Adoration. Their presence ensured that all participants received spiritual care and encouragement throughout the retreat.
The retreat concluded with healing Adoration. Participants returned with renewed faith filled with joy. Many people shared that they were deeply touched, experienced healing, and felt strengthened in their faith journey. The Lenten Retreat at St. John Bosco Parish, Senapati, was truly a grace-filled event that helped the faithful prepare spiritually for the celebration of Easter.
