DIVINE GLORY MINISTRIES, MANIPUR -
MARAM KHUNOU, SENAPATI:
The Residential Retreat on “Mary & Church” was held from 1st to 4th October 2026, Thursday to Sunday; at Divine Glory Prayer Tower. The retreat brought together around 20 participants who came with a sincere desire to deepen their faith, grow in their relationship with Jesus, and understand more deeply the role of the Blessed Virgin Mary in the life of the Church.
The retreat began with joyful and prayerful Praise and Worship, led by Saimon Namkoiba and Ajoy Kansouwa. Their ministry helped create an atmosphere of prayer, openness, and fellowship throughout the retreat.
The spiritual sessions and preaching were led by Fr. Dinny Paul VC, Fr. John Joseph VC, Fr. Praful Kerketta VC, Fr. Daya Kishor, and Mr. Francis. The main focus of the retreat was the Blessed Mother Mary and her role in bringing us closer to Jesus. Through the teachings and reflections, the participants were reminded that Mary always points us towards her Son, Jesus Christ, and encourages us to follow Him with faith, obedience, humility, and love.
Another important theme of the retreat was the dignity of the human body. The participants were reminded that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit and are meant to glorify God. The teachings encouraged everyone to examine their lives and to use their body, mind, and talents in ways that honour and glorify God.
A particularly meaningful part of the retreat was the Anointing Adoration, led by Fr. Dinny Paul VC. During this time of prayer and adoration, the participants experienced a deep sense of God's presence and many felt the power and working of the Holy Spirit. It was a profound spiritual experience that strengthened the faith of the participants and encouraged them to surrender themselves more completely to God.
The retreat was also a beautiful opportunity for fellowship. After the spiritual programme, everyone shared a joyful lunch together, creating a warm atmosphere of brotherhood, friendship, and gratitude. The participants departed with joyful hearts, carrying with them the spiritual lessons and experiences received during the four days.
