MARAM KHUNOU, SENAPATI:
The Senapati District Catholic Youth Organisation (SDCYO), representing 14 parishes and 103 churches across the district, successfully organised its three-day Youth Retreat at Divine Glory Prayer Tower, Maram Khunou, under the theme “Remember the Lord in Your Youth” (Ecclesiastes 12:1). A total of 150 youths participated in this spiritually enriching gathering.
The retreat was guided by Rev. Fr. Dinny Paul VC Director Divine Glory Tower Maram Khunou, Senapati. Rev. Fr. John Joseph VC, Rev. Fr. Sandeep Barla SDB, and Mr. Francis, who shared inspiring messages and spiritual reflections, encouraging the youths to deepen their faith and strengthen their relationship with God.
The three-day programme included Holy Mass, Rosary Prayer, the Way of the Cross, Eucharistic Adoration, healing and anointing, the Sacrament of Reconciliation (Confession), praise and worship, sharing sessions, group activities, and counselling. These spiritual activities provided the participants with opportunities for prayer, reflection, healing, and renewal in their journey of faith.
The retreat was a meaningful occasion for the youths to come together in faith and fellowship, reflect on God’s presence in their lives, and renew their commitment to Christ and the Church. It also strengthened the bonds of unity among the young people, encouraging them to become faithful witnesses of Christ in their families, communities, and parishes.
The three-day retreat concluded on 25 October 2026, leaving the participants spiritually enriched and encouraged to live out the message of the theme in their daily lives.
May the seeds of faith planted during these days continue to grow and bear fruit in the lives of our young people. May they always remember the Lord in their youth and remain steadfast in faith, love, and service.
