The One Day Lenten Fasting (Tapas) Retreat was conducted on 28th February 2026 in a deeply prayerful atmosphere. The day began with the Holy Rosary followed by vibrant praise and worship. The sessions were led by Sr. Alphonse Maria FCC, Sr. Karuna Jees, and Mr. Simon Namkoiba.
Inspiring and spirit-filled talks were delivered by Mr. Joshy and Mr. Henry, encouraging the faithful to enter more deeply into the Lenten season through prayer, fasting, and repentance. The Holy Mass and Eucharistic Adoration were reverently led by Fr. Daya Kishor, creating a sacred space for encounter with the Lord.
The participants were also given the grace-filled opportunity to receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation. A good number of faithful attended this blessed event, and many testified to experiencing physical and spiritual healing through God’s mercy and love.
A solemn Way of the Cross was conducted, during which participants moved from one station to another carrying a wooden cross. This powerful act helped them to spiritually unite themselves with the Passion of Christ and reflect more deeply on His sacrifice.
The entire day was marked by deep prayer, repentance, and renewal, making it a truly grace-filled and transformative Lenten experience for all who attended.
