Introduction:
The Bible Convention was successfully conducted at Divine Glory Retreat Centre, Zoumun, on 20 June 2026. The convention brought together faithful participants for a day of prayer, worship, spiritual teaching, and Eucharistic celebration. The programme was led by Rev. Fr. Saji VC, with the assistance of Catechists Savio & George, Mr. Jacob, Benedict, Philip, and many of the faithful around.
Programme Proceedings:
The convention commenced at 9:00 AM with the Holy Rosary led by Catechist Savio, preparing the participants spiritually for the day’s activities. At 9:30 AM, Rev. Fr. Saji VC delivered the first spiritual talk, focusing on the importance of Sacred Scripture and Christian living. The session concluded at 10:15 AM. Following a short interval, a Praise and Worship session was conducted from 10:45 AM to 11:00 AM by Catechists George and Savio. The lively worship created an atmosphere of prayer and thanksgiving among the participants.
The second talk by Rev. Fr. Saji VC was held from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM, providing deeper insights into the Word of God and encouraging participants to strengthen their faith.
An Action Song session followed from 11:45 AM to 12:15 PM, led by Catechists Savio, Benedict, and Philip. The interactive session brought joy and active participation from the gathering.
A short break was observed from 12:15 PM to 12:30 PM.
The Holy Mass was celebrated by Rev. Fr. Saji VC from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM. The Eucharistic celebration was the central part of the convention, drawing participants into deeper communion with God. After the Mass, the Divine Mercy devotion was led by Catechist Savio from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM. Participants prayed fervently for God’s mercy and blessings.
The convention concluded its spiritual programme with Eucharistic Adoration from 2:00 PM to 2:45 PM, led by Rev. Fr. Saji VC. The adoration provided a sacred time of silent prayer, reflection, and thanksgiving before the Blessed Sacrament.
Lunch was served from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM, after which participants departed with renewed faith and spiritual encouragement.
Conclusion:
The Bible Convention at Divine Glory Retreat Centre, Zoumun, was a spiritually enriching event. Through prayer, worship, scriptural teachings, Holy Mass, Divine Mercy devotion, and Eucharistic Adoration, participants experienced a meaningful encounter with God. The dedicated service of Rev. Fr. Saji VC and the catechists contributed greatly to the success of the programme.
The convention concluded peacefully, leaving participants inspired to deepen their faith and commitment to Christian life.
