DIVINE GLORY MINISTRIES, MANIPUR -
MARAM KHUNOU, SENAPATI:
The Second Saturday Marian Convention for the month of March 2026 was conducted with deep devotion and spiritual enthusiasm. Around 100 faithful participants gathered together to honor the Blessed Virgin Mary and to grow in their Marian spirituality. The convention began with praise and worship followed by Rosary led by Sr. Alphonse Maria FCC. Then an inspiring talk was given by Bro. Henry John. He shared a thought-provoking reflection on the “Concept of Other Denominations about Mother Mary.” He explained how different Christian traditions view Mother Mary and emphasized the importance of understanding the Catholic teaching about her unique role in the mystery of salvation.
Followed by Sr. Karuna Jees CHF delivered a powerful talk on “The Silence of Mary, Mother of Jesus.” Through scriptural reflections and spiritual insights, she highlighted how Mary’s silence was not emptiness but a deep listening to God. Participants were encouraged to imitate Mary’s attitude of humility, prayer, and trust in God’s plan.
The convention also provided a meaningful opportunity for the faithful to receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation. Fr. Daya Kishor and Fr. Paul Ngaoluni from Don Bosco parish Senapati generously heard the confessions of the participants, helping them to experience God’s mercy and renewal.
The Holy Mass was then celebrated solemnly by Fr. Paul Ngaoluni, during which the faithful offered their prayers and intentions through the intercession of Mother Mary. After the Holy Eucharist, a time of Eucharistic Adoration was led by Fr. Daya Kishor, allowing the participants to spend moments of silent prayer and worship before the Lord.
The convention concluded with a spirit of fellowship and gratitude. After sharing lunch together, the participants dispersed peacefully at 3:00 PM, carrying with them renewed faith and deeper love for Mother Mary.
The gathering was truly a grace-filled occasion that strengthened Marian devotion and encouraged the faithful to follow the example of the Blessed Virgin Mary in their daily lives.
